![]() Alejandra says she tries to stay off the streets as much as possible these days. She has just come from collecting clothes at a church and looks as if she can't get home fast enough. "I've heard about what is happening with the new laws and, honestly, I'm scared because we don't have our papers," says Alejandra, a Hispanic woman pushing her toddler son down the street in a stroller. Residents say the area has been revitalized by immigrants from Mexico, but as I visit, the streets are mostly empty, and in a 20-minute period, four police cars go by. It might seem as if Jones' campaign against illegal immigration isn't having much impact - that is, until you head across town to an area locals call Little Mexico. "If two simultaneous calls came in - one that was national security, and the other being an undocumented immigrant that poses no significant public safety threat - you can surmise exactly where we'll put our resources," Palmore says. For Palmore, the agency's course of action was clear. For Jones, it was one more frustrating example of federal failure. He called ICE, but the agency declined to come for the men. But exactly what happened was sketchy, and Jones had no actual charges to hold them on. He says Jones picked up the workers after someone reported a disturbance at the worksite. "If you're going to hold anybody, you've got to have the charges," says Greg Palmore with the regional office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, or ICE. Critics say the sheriff is overstepping his bounds, just as they say he did a few weeks ago, when his officers detained 18 Hispanic workers at a construction site. Jones won't reveal which businesses he's visited a spokesman says they're considered "uncharged suspects." But in fact, Jones couldn't charge the companies if he wanted to - at least not with hiring illegal workers. "If you engage in an underground economy and you think that we don't know about it, we'll be visiting you," Jones says. On his blog, Jones warns companies, "You know who you are, and we're coming." He says the signs are generating tips from the public. On six billboards across the county, Jones has plastered his own image, arms crossed over chest, reminding employers that it's illegal to hire undocumented workers. More recently, the sheriff began targeting businesses. He has billed the federal government for the incarceration costs - $150,000 since last October - though he doesn't expect to see any reimbursement checks. Jones says it costs his county thousands of dollars a month to jail lawbreakers who also happen to be illegal immigrants. ![]() "It's a big, bright yellow sign, and it's to let people know in our community that there are illegals here, and it is a problem, and we want some help," Jones says. In the parking area outside the county jail, two new signs proclaim "Illegal Aliens Here," with an arrow pointing inside. ![]() With a similar swagger, Jones is on a mission to prod, cajole, even shame federal officials into action. ![]() Jones' hero is John Wayne a near life-sized poster of the actor hangs next to his desk. And he's frightening the local Hispanic population. In Butler County, Ohio, Sheriff Richard Jones is on a mission to tackle the problem. Local authorities across the country complain that they bear the financial burden of illegal immigration, yet they lack the power to enforce immigration law. Sheriff Jones' Blog: Jones uses his Web log to encourage Butler County residents to boycott businesses that hire illegal immigrants. ![]()

![]() It is about a 10-minute drive from Sea World and the Zoo. This hotel is highly recommended personally, very suitable for parent-child travel. After communicating with the platform, it was solved very well. After checking in, I found some small problems. After a pleasant journey, I decided to write down my true feelings! 1. I was a little hesitant when I saw that this hotel had a low rating when I booked the hotel. Stay here only if you are into golfing and have money to throw away. If I could rate your ambience, it would get one star. This was just an example of how famous names don't mean much when you charge us for the most miniscule amenities that should just come with the pricey room fee. I have had much better experiences at cheaper hotels. This is not directed directly towards any employees, I just think all this has to do more with the Hilton Hotel name. Parking was an additional $33 per night and we bought 5 waterbottles for $26 in the lobby store while other customers with Hilton loyalty were given 2 free bottles. Considering this hotel was quite pricey already. However, these encounters made me feel like I did not receive equal respect or consideration as other high-paying guests. I understand some things are beyond the workers control as I have also worked in customer service. I was also in line waiting to turn in my room key around 15 minutes and another customer cut me off right when I was about to be attended, turned around and just told me ”he just had to”, and no one said anything regarding that encounter. When I told them them if we can clean the tables, they told us sit at another table that had prints all over it. The next morning at breakfast I wanted to sit in a certain area because all the other tables were dirty, then was told by management to leave that area. We just had to bring our truck around a second time to unload. A moment after we drove up and I had just got off our truck to grab my purse and suitcase, we were already approached and told to move our vehicle for valet. The girls were the front desk were nice as well! We just had some encounters we did not appreciate. It is the top of the TAD bias meter line, the Bias Master, with no less than four octal test sockets. This is a brand new currently manufactured unit, not used or refurbished, and we have many of these in stock. Any time you replace power audio tubes the bias of your amp should be checked and/or adjusted. P.S.¡PRODUCTO BAJO PEDIDO! PLAZO DE ENTREGA ESTIMADO DE 5 A 25 DÍAS! This very cool FOUR socket test meter lets you regain control over your amp's sonic output. Maybe with older amps this could be more useful, but I think it is nothing that you are not able to do with good quality multimeter. This might be a stupid question, but could someone clarify me that why someone wants to read the plate voltage each time you set the bias for your amp's tubes? Ain't that fixed and if everything is OK it should remain that way? I think that usually this information can be found from manual or by asking from the manufacturer (esp. Also, sometimes I have been a bit surprised about the matched quartet of tubes not being that well matched and those are the cases when the 4 "simultaneus" probes are handy. I would also argue that to certain level it may be said that these products are safer to use. have is that they have the possibility to measure each tube separately, but still in a way "simultaneously" without turning the amp off and changing the probe to other tube. The main advantage I consider that these bias masters, rites, etc. Speciality product in niche market often leads into speciality price. My personal opinion is that it is good product that has its place on market (as well as the Weber's product, etc.), but people do have issues with accepting the set price-level. multimeter I don't see much reason why to purchase any of these unless you have additional cash and are biasing rather often. Extremely expensive as there is nothing fancy, but it is easy and fast to use. ![]() What's your favourite one?
